The Audie Murphy North Texas Chapter of AUSA Honorary Scholarship is awarded annually to a deserving US Army family member. The selectee for this scholarship will preferably be a student within the chapter’s geographic area.
The North Texas – Audie Murphy Chapter of the Association of the US Army covers the geographic area of Texas from Mineral Wells in the west, The Red River in the North, Texarkana in the east and Waco to the south. The Chapter’s purpose is to promote and enhance fellowship among members and the community and to strengthen the relationships between its stakeholders and the US Army.
The chapter has established an annual scholarship to be presented to a deserving US Army family member in support of their educational endeavors. The AUSA North Texas – Audie Murphy Chapter was formed in 1950 and has continuously supported North Texas – Audie Murphy veterans, soldiers and their families, since inception.
