26 Sep U.S. Army Scholarship Foundation Announces Scholarship Awards for 2025-26 Academic Year
The Army Scholarship Foundation announced today that a grant from the Fluor Foundation’s Military Support Coalition will fund Fluor Honorary Scholarships that have been awarded to 10 U.S. Army family member students for the 2025-26 academic year.

Fluor Honorary Scholarships were awarded to:
Alastair Baker of Madison, Alabama. Alastair is the son of former Specialist & Mrs. Franklin Baker. He is a senior at the University of Alabama Huntsville majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics.
Nolan Brown of Economy, Indiana. He is the son of Sergeant First Class & Mrs. Dan Brown. SFC Brown is stationed with Defense Finance & Accounting Service in Indianapolis. Nolan is a senior at Miami University majoring in Neuroscience.
Nyla Cole of Riverdale, Georgia, is the daughter of Sergeant & Mrs. Gregory Cole. She is a sophomore at the University of Georga in Athens, majoring in Biology.
Alejandra Escobar of Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Alejandra is the daughter of Sergeant First Class & Mrs. Ismael Escobar who is stationed with the U.S. Army Transportation Agency. She is a senior at Texas A&M University majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
Dominick Lind of Strasburg, Colorado. Dominick is the son of Staff Sergeant & Mrs. Shaun Lind. SSG Lind served in combat in Iraq and is now retired. He is a junior at Colorado State University majoring in Engineering and Computer Science.
Genesis Valcin of Spring, Texas is the daughter of Sergeant First Class Dominic Valcin. She is a junior at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, majoring in Computer Science and Digital Media.
Jalen Inlow of Salem, Illinois. Jalen is the son of Staff Sergeant Andrew Inlow who served in combat in Iraq. He is a freshman at Greenville University in Greenville, Illinois majoring in Engineering.
Arthur Walczak of Spring Hill, Florida. He is the son of Specialist Jason Walczak. Arthur is a freshman at the University of Florida studying Computer Science.
Mercuria Vance of Osceola, Arkansas. She is the daughter of Staff Sergeant & Mrs Harold Vance who are both deceased. She is a junior at Arkansas State University majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
Curtis Woods of Bandera, Texas. He is the son of retired Specialist George Sutton who served at Ft Leonard Wood. Curtis will enter the Texas A&M University of Texas El Paso and manor in Engineering.
The Army Scholarship Foundation was founded in 2001 by concerned Army veterans who desired to continue their service to the Nation and to support and assist families of Army soldiers.
