GuideStar USA has awarded its Platinum Star Exchange Seal to the Army Scholarship Foundation for its compliance with GuideStar’s data availability guidelines for charitable organizations.  The Platinum designation is GuideStar’s very highest designation of distinction and transparency. GuideStar USA is the nation’s leader in evaluating the non-profit sector to assist donors in making the best giving decisions by ensuring that donors can access comprehensive data on non-profits, particularly financial and administrative data. GuideStar believes that the best donor decisions are made when such information on non-profits is open and shared. The Army Scholarship Foundation’s willingness to make its data available to donors has resulted in this recognition by GuideStar. The Foundation views this designation as helping to assure its donors’ confidence in the integrity and openness of its operations.  

The Army Scholarship Foundation was founded in 2001 to provide scholarships to deserving sons and daughters of US Army soldiers and Army veterans, and to spouses of enlisted active duty soldiers.
