The DFW Metroplex Federal Coordinating Committee of the Combined Federal Campaign announced today that the Army Scholarship Foundation has been approved for the second consecitive year for participation in the 2014 Charity Listing and the 2014 CFC campaign.

As a result, federal employees in the Metroplex region are now able to designate tax deductible CFC donations to the Army Scholarship Foundation. These donations will assist family members of United States Army personnel in their pursuit of higher education. For information visit the local CFC web site at www.dfwmetroplexcfc.org.

All federal employees in the DFW Metroplex are encouraged to consider the Army Scholarship Foundation when planning their CFC annual giving.

This designation is the result of a rigorous application and audit process required for qualification and participation in the CFC. It also validates the continued transparency of Army Scholarship Foundation operations and our careful stewardship of donated funds for Army family member scholarships.

The Army Scholarship Foundation was founded in 2001 by concerned Army veterans who desired to support families of soldiers. The foundation provides scholarships to deserving sons and daughters of U.S. Army soldiers and veterans, as well as to spouses of active duty enlisted soldiers. The foundation is sustained by the generous donations of its supporters. Tax deductible donations can be sent to the Army Scholarship Foundation, 11700 Preston Road, Suite 660-301, Dallas, TX 75230.
